Pentecost Picnic – Sunday June 5th, 12 Noon
Join us immediately following the 10:30 worship service. We gather under the oak tree in the courtyard to enjoy fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, rolls, and a desert. Make sure you wear red for Pentecost.
The term Pentecost means “The 50th Day”. It is used in both the Old and New Testaments. In the Old Testament it refers to a feast of seven weeks known as the feast of weeks and now refers to the 50th Day of Easter.
