Mardi Gras Celebration
Before Lenten season began, more than 70 parishioners and guests gathered together in our parish hall for a Mardi Gras Celebration. The wonderful New Orleans style menu included gumbo, shrimp etufee, jumbalaya, red beans and rice, and steamed corn and potatoes. Drinks included hurricanes and bloddy marys. And all enjoyed the music by Louis Armstrong, Pete Fountain, Fats Domino and other New Orleans greats.

The celebration was a success not only because of the fun and fellowship everyone shared that night, but also because of the income from the celebration and the raffle on a brand new laptop computer that was donated by an individual. We were able to net $562 which was designated from our new
Sharing Fund.
