Christmas Parade Float
Our church entered a float again this year in the Okeechobee Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 10th. We used the same theme - "Let Him Unwrap The Magic Of Christmas" - as last year when it rained and ruined the presents on the float. So the ladies, too numerous to mention, wrapped all new beautiful presents for the float.

The parishioners putting the float together had to contend with only wind this year - no rain. And this year, thanks to Kevin's efforts, we had music on our float. We played a CD of all Christmas Carols as we traveled the parade route. Also, a special thank you to Howard Bangert, who pulled the float this year.

There were thousands of spectators who lined the parade route enjoy all of the floats various community organizations created. We are all blessed to live in community such as Okeechobee where we can all gather to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
